CāŠ—;
I hope that your vacation is going nicely.
Merle and I are continuing working, since we'll be taking a week
off in February to go to the ACM '76 conference in Anaheim.

I've drafted a few letters to people/institutions, indicating that I
will probably be available next Fall, etc. I'd like to mention that
you suggested I write, in my letters to the following poeple:

Rutgers Amarel
ISI Balzer or Goldman?
Harvard Cheatum
Rochester	Feldman
U. of Mich.	Ganapathy
Essex Hayes
Edinburgh	Meltzer or Michie?
U. of Maryland	Minker or Rieger or Samet
MIT Minsky or Papert or Winston?
Carnegie	Newell or Simon or Reddy or Waterman?
SRI Nilsson or Raphael?
Yale Schank

Where there is a question-mark, please indicate to me (the day you read
this, if possible) which person you think I should write to.
In addition, I am writing to personal contacts at USC, U. of Pa.,
Caltech, U. of Illinois, Xerox, U. Texas/Austin, Duke, and the Weizman
Institute.

I would like to write to the following, but I don't know anyone there:
Cornell, U.C. Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, IBM Yorktown Heights, BBN, Bell Labs.

If you can suggest anyone specifically to write to there, I would
appreciate it. Also, are there any other places that I've left out, that
you think might be worthwhile looking into?
Am I talking about too many different places, or not enough?

Hope to hear from you soon.
Cheers,
Doug
